Pole Beginners

Pya started her aerial journey in 2014. Without any formal sports and dance background, she entered the Polecats studio in the hopes of finding a new hobby. Years after, she realized how pole improved not only her strength and form, but also her general outlook in life.

“Polecats has not only taught me spins and tricks in pole but also instilled in me the concept of body positivity as I learn to celebrate the differences of our bodies and what it can do for us.”

Pya believes that everyone can learn pole regardless of your sex, age, or size. She decided to join Polecats’ as an instructor so she can help break the notion of pole fitness as an intimidating sport. Currently, she is mastering her craft to become specialized in teaching first timers in pole.
